Lunch/Networking

1:00-2:30
Breakout Strategy Workshop #1:
Evaluation/Testing/Market Research

Topics to explore will include:

1. What technologies/models should be considered for promotion? Who will perform the measure characterizations?

2. Can we all agree on uniform savings assumptions?
What are the criteria that we test to? Can we all agree on one model?

3. Should the testing procedures be twofold, computer modeling/laboratory evaluation and field studies?

4. How much can we pay for incentives, given the (potential) declining stand by losses per product

Breakout Strategy Workshop #2: Education/Marketing/Outreach/Training

Topics to explore will include:

1. How do we educate the mainstream public about the existence and value of eliminating phantom loads?

2. How do we teach older and other challenged populations to set up and use these products properly?

3. How do we work with Retail Partners to get them to stock these higher price point items and promote their sale? What training is needed to inform customer at point of sale?

4. What market research needs to be done to determine which messages resonate best with consumers?

5. What additional outreach opportunities can be employed?
