State Evaluation Activities Webinar

On May 4, the EM&V Forum held a webinar to provide an opportunity for states to learn about energy efficiency evaluation activities throughout the region and potentially highlight areas for cooperation and collaboration. In this webinar, representatives from 9 of the 10 states that participate in the Forum gave a short presentation about their state's recently completed, current and planned evaluation activities. EM&V Forum Completes Two Major Projects

The Regional EM&V Forum recently completed two major projects: Regional EM&V Methods and Savings Assumptions Guidelines and the Mid-Atlantic Technical Reference Manual (TRM). These projects were presented to the Forum's Steering Committee in late May and were adopted/accepted by consensus.

End-Use Load Data Update Project - Final Report, Phase 1: Cataloguing Available End-Use and Efficiency Measure Load Data

This study was commissioned jointly by sponsors of two regional organizations, in response to a widespread interest in updating end-use load data. It represents a first step - "Phase 1" - toward a goal shared by the east and northwest (the Regions) of developing a coherent method of warehousing, distributing, and updating end-use and efficiency measure load data for the regions to eventually have a full array of data for all end-uses and efficiency measures.

EM&V Forum First Annual Public Meeting
September 2009
On September 16, the Regional Evaluation Measurement & Verification Forum (EM&V Forum) held its first Annual Public Meeting in Providence, Rhode Island. The event drew over 90 attendees including energy efficiency program administrators, policymakers, regulators, system planners, and efficiency consultants. This day-long meeting featured several panel discussions and a luncheon presentation about EM&V related topics that provided attendees with a wide range of perspectives about current EM&V issues.
