Cape Light Compact
The Cape Light Compact, as administered through Barnstable County, is an inter-municipal regional energy services organization made up of all 21 towns of Barnstable and Dukes counties. Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund
CTEnergyInfo was developed by the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control, Energy Conservation Management Board and Institute for Sustainable Energy to help consumers navigate the ever increasing number of energy-related resources.
Connecticut Light & Power
CL&P provides more than 1.2 million customers with safe and reliable electricity. With annual revenues of approximately $3.5 billion, CL&P plays a major role in the growth and vitality of Connecticut's economy and quality of life.
Efficiency Maine
Efficiency Maine is a statewide effort to promote the more efficient use of electricity, help Maine residents and businesses reduce energy costs, and improve Maine's environment. Efficiency Maine is funded by electricity consumers and administered by the Maine Public Utilities Commission.
Efficiency Vermont
Efficiency Vermont is the nation's first statewide provider of energy efficiency services. We're operated by an independent, non-profit organization under contract to the Vermont Public Service Board. Efficiency Vermont provides technical assistance and financial incentives to Vermont households and businesses, to help them reduce their energy costs with energy-efficient equipment and lighting and with energy-efficient approaches to construction and renovation.
Long Island Power Authority
In May of 1998, the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) became Long Island's primary electric service provider. Operating as a non-profit entity, LIPA has continued to serve the Island's growing population with a consistent commitment to cost-containment, efficiency and service reliability. LIPA is dedicated to improving the quality of life for everyone within its service territory.
National Grid
National Grid is an international energy delivery company. In the U.S., National Grid delivers electricity to approximately 3.3 million customers in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York and Rhode Island, and manages the electricity network on Long Island under an agreement with the Long Island Power Authority.
New York State Energy Research & Development Authority
NYSERDA strives to facilitate change through the widespread development and use of innovative technologies to improve the State's energy, economic, and environmental wellbeing. In fulfilling its mission, NYSERDA's workforce reflects its public service orientation, placing a premium on objective analysis and collaboration, as well as reaching out to solicit multiple perspectives and share information.
NStar Electric and Gas
NSTAR is the largest Massachusetts-based, investor-owned electric and gas utility, with revenues of approximately $3.3 billion and assets totaling approximately $8.3 billion. NSTAR transmits and delivers electricity and gas to 1.1 million electric customers in 81 communities and nearly 300,000 gas customers in 51 communities. NSTAR employs more than 3,200 employees in its regulated business.
Public Service of New Hampshire
Public Service of New Hampshire (PSNH) is the Granite State's largest electric utility, serving more than 490,000 homes and businesses throughout the state. Our personnel includes more than 1,200 employees who work and live in New Hampshire, contributing in many ways to the communities where they reside.
TINSSL
U.S. Department of Energy Technical Information Network for Solid-State Lighting
DOE's Technical Information Network for Solid-State Lighting (TINSSL) increases awareness of SSL technology, performance, and appropriate applications. TINSSL members include representatives from regional energy efficiency organizations and program sponsors, utilities, state and local energy offices, lighting trade groups, and other stakeholders.
NEEP Sponsors receive regular updates on technical progress of SSL technologies, upcoming meetings and events that address market issues related to SSL, and outreach materials developed for target audiences.
United Illuminating Company
The United Illuminating Company (UI) is a New Haven-based regional electric distribution company established in 1899. UI is engaged in the purchase, transmission, distribution and sale of electricity and related services to more than 324,000 residential, commercial and industrial customers in the Greater New Haven and Bridgeport areas.
