Scarlett is an Associate on the Technology Market Transformation team. In this role, she conducts research, analysis, and stakeholder engagement to accelerate the regional market adoption of energy efficient, low-carbon building technologies and practices.
Prior to joining NEEP, Scarlett was the Climate Education Fellow at Mass Audubon where she coordinated the Youth Climate Leadership Program and taught climate civics to high school youth in Massachusetts. She has also worked for the late U.S. Representative Raúl Grijalva and the House Natural Resources Committee as a Public Policy Fellow with the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. Her current role is supported by the Dr. Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Fellowship Program.
Scarlett holds a B.A. in Public Policy and Environmental Studies from New York University.

A: The Emperor of Gladness by Ocean Vuong
Q: If you could spend one week anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?
A: I would love to explore Iceland and see the stunning waterfalls, hot springs, volcanoes, and glaciers. Of course, I’d have to go in July to experience the midnight sun and make the most out of the daylight.
Q: What's something about you that would surprise us?
A: I recently started ice skating lessons! It’s a challenging sport, but I’m having a lot of fun!
