Regional Technical Support for Communities and States
NEEP is designated by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs to provide technical support to states and local communities in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. As part of our overall engagement with states and communities, NEEP works to disseminate U.S. DOE guidance materials and other resources on best practices in energy efficiency policies and programs.
NEEP regularly directs state and local government officials to U.S. DOE resources that can inform their energy efficiency initiatives. Many of these resources are also featured in our presentations, factsheets and whitepapers, and are linked on our state policy pages and energy efficient building pages, and in the Resources section at the right of this page.
