The Hotel Marcel is the first and only Passive House hotel in the country, featuring a sustainability-focused operation retrofitted in an iconic Brutalist design. Learn how this building that once housed the Armstrong Rubber Company (one of America's premier tire production companies founded in 1912) became an all-electric hotel.
Wednesday, June 14
6:30 a.m. - Walk New Haven with NEEPers
We will walk the waterfront along New Haven's Historic Long Wharf District.
7:30 a.m. - Morning Meditation, Hotel Rooftop Courtyard
Let's get ready for Day One by clearing our minds - we'll create a space for decreased stress and increased productivity.
1:00 p.m. - Waterfront Walk
We will walk the waterfront along New Haven's Historic Long Wharf District.
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Dinner Clubs
An optional opportunity to dine at local restaurants with NEEP staff and small groups of conference attendees. NEEP will handle reservations, and we will all split the bill. Sign-up at the Summit.
8:00 p.m. - Cards & Such
A chance for some informal shenanigans while we play card and board games in the hotel's sunken lounge area.
