NEEP's Heating Electrification Initiative is made possible through the engagement and support of key actors across the heat pump market. Current participants include regional, national, and Canadian interests spanning government, manufacturers, distributors and installers, service providers, program designers, national labs and research institutes, consultants, consumers, advocates, and other interested stakeholders.  

NEEP invites interested stakeholders to join the Initiative through an annual subscription program for 2024.

To subscribe to NEEP’s Heating Electrification Initiative, complete an on-line registration form. A NEEP staff member will follow up promptly.

Initiative subscribers receive the following benefits:

  • Enhanced access to ccASHP Product List that includes documented products that meet specific technical requirements. Access includes unlimited downloads with reported product performance information.
  • Invitation to participate in NEEP’s heating electrification working groups, advisory committee, and sub-committees on a regular basis to share relevant updates and contribute to the development of NEEP resources/tools.
  • Initiative updates and reports on topics, including early access to NEEP reports prior to full publishing. 
  • Information and Invitations to NEEP events and webinars, including the Heating Electrification Workshop and NEEP Summit.
  • Technical expertise, including prioritized responses regarding questions about heating electrification technologies, technical requirements, and other issues related to initiative activities. 
  • Program and policy tracker updates reflecting the latest heating electrification program requirements and policy developments in the region.
  • Visibility and name recognition on the NEEP website to reflect your shared commitment to transforming the HVAC and water heating markets.
