Charlotte joined NEEP in Fall 2024 as a member of the Codes and Standards team. In this role, she facilitates adoption and implementation of updated building energy codes and building performance standards through stakeholder engagement and technical assistance. She is passionate about decarbonization of the built environment and sees building codes and standards as an essential tool for an equitable transition to a clean energy future.
After a 17-year career in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, Charlotte is pursuing a Masters of Sustainability at the Harvard Extension School (Spring 2026), where she has focused her classwork on sustainable communities and environmental policy. She also works locally on building decarbonization as a member of her Massachusetts community Sustainability Commission, where she is a residential heat pump coach and is leading town-wide climate action efforts. Charlotte also is a member and serves on the Board of HeatSmart Alliance, a Massachusetts non-profit that trains and supports community heat pump coaching programs.
Charlotte holds a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
