At Clariant’s Coventry facility, motors represent 80 percent of the plant’s 3.7-megawatt load. The plant is achieving an annual energy reduction of more than 1 million kWh through improvements including high efficiency lighting, lighting controls, high efficiency motors and pumps, compressed air systems, and energy management systems.
