Building Partnerships That Last
Effective and equitable community partnerships don’t happen by accident—they’re the result of intentional, trust-based relationship building to drive lasting impact. Across the Northeast, organizations are co-creating partnerships that center community priorities and generate long-term, sustainable impact. This session features people-centered community leaders sharing their experiences in cultivating meaningful collaborations, the lessons they’ve learned, and how they’ve overcome challenges. Experts will share practical tools, insights, and examples that can be adapted.
Multifamily Programs: What You Need to Know
Multifamily buildings present some of the most challenging retrofit cases due to the wide variety of building types, the tenant-landlord split incentive, and many technical barriers. These barriers can be even more pronounced in affordable and naturally occurring affordable housing (NOAH) properties and mixed-income properties where there are additional funding constraints and various decision-making stakeholders. This session will feature experienced implementers who have run successful multifamily programs across the region and who will share how to implement effective programs for greatest impact. Speakers will demystify incentives and roadblocks for owners, landlords, and tenants.
