From 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, join representatives from Colorado communities and learn from this interactive workshop about the basics and benefits of building energy codes and how they can support municipal and county sustainability and climate goals. The workshop will cover: model energy codes, the adoption process, and how energy codes help communities thrive while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. You'll learn from peers who are handling the opportunities and challenges of new building energy codes. Participants will get tips from building officials for coordinating energy code adoption with their building department.
