Join NEEP on November 4 at 1:00 p.m. as we go in depth about how to build a zero energy school. Meredith Elbaum from U.S. Green Building Council, MA Chapter will present on its new report, Zero Energy Buildings in Massachusetts: Saving Money from the Start. She will discuss the cost of zero energy buildings and present case studies of zero energy schools in the state of Massachusetts. Kate Crosby (Energy Manager) and JD Head (Director of School Operations) of the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District will also talk about the zero energy school project currently in the planning stages, highlighting challenges, lessons learned, and achievements thus far.

This webinar will be a great opportunity for community stakeholders, school district officials, and building professionals to learn about the cost and opportunities of building to zero energy. It is also a chance to learn about the holistic planning/design process from a school district that is doing it. Come ready to participate in this interactive webinar. Bring your questions for an engaging discussion following the presentations.
