Executive Assistant
Financial and Administrative Services

Kristen Baldacci has spent the majority of her professional career in support roles as an Executive Assistant in the non-profit and higher education realms. Early on in her career, she was a full-time journalist and she’s continued as a freelance writer for a variety of subjects. Kristen lives in Swampscott, Massachusetts.

Prior to joining NEEP, Kristen worked as an Executive Assistant for The Trustees of Reservations, Greater Lynn Senior Services and Endicott College. In her role as Executive Assistant, she provides support to Executive Director Maggie Molina and the Senior Management Team, assisting with scheduling, communications, board meeting materials, and follow-up. She works closely with the Senior Management team, liaises with the board, drafts meeting minutes, follows up on action items, and helps to streamline processes and pitch in wherever needed.

Kristen is thrilled to be part of such a collaborative team with a meaningful mission which is close to her heart. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Saint Michael’s College.

Outside of work, Kristen’s best times are spent with family, with her husband, their two daughters (one in Cambridge and one in Brooklyn,) and their rescue cat, Frankie. Her favorite pursuits include reading, travel, sailing, working out, and digging in the dirt all summer long.

Q: What book is currently on your nightstand?

A: I always have 2- reference and a novel. I am late to the game but reading the “Let Them Theory” by Mel Robbins and “Educated” by Tara Westover.

Q: If you weren't working at NEEP, what other job would you have?

A: I would either scout movie locations after reading the screenplays or would love to be a ‘test audience’ for SNL or NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me.”  I’d also love to help rescue animals.

Q: If you could spend one week anywhere in the world, where would it be? Why?

A: I’d want to go on safari in Africa. I think it would be unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, and I’d love to see these majestic creatures in the wild.
