Luke Miller joined NEEP in 2023. As Senior Associate, Policy and Programs, Luke conducts research and analysis to support development of equitable decarbonization policies and programs in the region. He also tracks state energy efficiency programs and other building decarbonization efforts in the region and works with stakeholder groups to pursue policy and program changes in coordination with state energy offices, utilities, efficiency program administrators, and other key partners.
Before starting at NEEP, Luke worked in global foreign exchange and commodity markets, biodiversity conservation, and municipal climate action planning. Luke has a bachelor of arts in Spanish from Northwestern University and a master of public affairs in environmental policy from Indiana University. Luke is an active member of the Vermont Sierra Club.

Q: If you weren’t working at NEEP, what other job would you have?
A: I'd be an eco-tour guide! I love exploring and learning about nature, animals and plants- and sharing it with others.
