Packaged Commercial HVAC Equipment Market Characterization- Report- 2006

This report presents the results of a market characterization of packaged commercial HVAC equipment in the Northeast. This research was conducted for sponsors of the Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnership (NEEP) Commercial Packaged HVAC Initiative and reflects the market conditions in the Northeast (New England, New York and New Jersey). The Initiative promotes high efficiency unitary HVAC equipment based on the Consortium of Energy Efficiency (CEE) Tier 2 specifications for commercial equipment from 1 to 30 tons. The goal of this market characterization was to assess the market conditions in the Northeast for high efficiency packaged commercial HVAC units and develop recommendations of program strategies that are likely to be effective in overcoming barriers to increasing sales of high efficiency equipment.
