Evaluation, Measurement & Verification Activities in Rhode Island

The Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission (PUC) reviews and approves the design and implementation of the utilities' energy efficiency programs on an annual basis. The annual energy efficiency program plans are required to include a detailed Measurement and Verification Plan.  Studies are proposed in the Energy Efficiency Program Plan.The utilities are also required to file reports about their programs and evaluation results with the RI Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council  (EERMC) and the PUC.
