West Virginia Energy Codes

West Virginia adopted the 2009 IECC along with the 2015 IBC, IRC, mechanical, plumbing, and fuel gas codes on February 22, 2019. The West Virginia Office of Energy is training the industry to comply with the 2009, 2015, and 2018 IECC but do not expect to update from the 2009 IECC this year. They have an ongoing benchmarking project funded by the US DOE focusing on K-12 schools.
