Dragana Thibault joined NEEP in 2023 as a Senior Associate, Codes and Standards. In this role, she is leading stakeholder engagement activities, providing research and analysis, developing reports and working with people across different industries about the details of technical code development and implementation.
Prior to joining NEEP, Dragana led the Legal and Government Affairs team at Livingston Energy Group, where she conducted research on government and utility regulations, programs and initiatives related to climate change, transportation, energy, and grid. Dragana also coordinated the securing of federal and state contracts to support sustainability initiatives. Dragana also worked as a Research Specialist at The Research Foundation for the State University of NY. She conducted open-source research, collected data and analysis on foreign governments' policies related to biological, chemical, nuclear weapons, and materials.
Dragana holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) in Civil Law and Property Law from Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Law in North Macedonia, as well as a Master of Law (LL.M.) in International Law with a concentration in Climate Change Mitigation Policies on the use of Energy in Transportation from Albany Law School. She is also fluent in English and Macedonian and proficient in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Bulgarian. Outside of work, Dragana volunteers at Amnesty International.
Q: Name one thing you cannot live without?
A: One thing I cannot live without is my daily dose of exercise and walking. Whether it's a morning run, exercise, or a simple walk, I find that moving my body helps me stay energized and focused throughout the day.

Q: What's something about you that would surprise people?
A: I love taking old items and restoring them to give them a new life. It's both a creative outlet and a way to contribute to a more environmentally conscious lifestyle.
