Objectives

  • Deliver overview of the NE Residential Lighting Strategy (RLS) which provides recommendations to achieve all cost-effective efficiencies through lighting programs
  • Explore regulatory engagement that allows flexible programs responsive to market developments and new approaches to program evaluation
  • Evaluate and offer appropriate transition strategies from CFLs to LEDs through 2020
  • Help build and strengthen relationships between programs and trade allies to promote lighting solutions
  • Review best practices and identify gaps in education and marketing toward broad adoption of high-efficient lighting products
  • Receive stakeholder input to inform necessary updates to the RLS for 2013 planning cycle
